The Good Doctor is a pretty solid medical drama about a young man in the autistic spectrum that also has Savant  Syndrome, which makes him have a unique talent for surgery, a career which he pursues.

This show can be considered as a spiritual successor to House; even David Shore is on board of this project as the showrunner. The medical side is quite entertaining as you’d expect, but the personal struggles of the main characters are a bigger focus than they were in House; and to be honest, it’s completely logical and also very interesting, since Shaun’s (the main character) social limitations play a BIG part in both him practising medicine as well as his personal life.

So, all in all, if you like medical dramas, you’ll definitely enjoy The Good Doctor.
