I find Archive a bit of an Ex-Machina and Moon mix, where Theo James plays the part of an engineer that, after a tragic incident, lives isolated from society in some kind of abandoned research post, only accompanied by the three AI robots he created there.

This movie is an extremely slow-burn and may seem a little “thin” plot wise to some people, but if you are looking for something different to watch, this could be a great choice. Personally, I really liked it because it managed to make me feel a connection not only with our main character, but with his three AI robots and the “struggles” they appear to be having. I think the director and the voice actress made a great job transmitting and portraying the “feelings” and personalities of the synthetic characters.
